It's April Already?

It's April Already?

Can you believe it's April already? I can't. Time sure does go by fast. So does time between my last blog. I realized I haven't blogged in awhile since my last blog was titled "A Cold Day." In fact, the weather in upstate New York now is quite the opposite. Recently we have been receiving beautiful warm weather, which has caused me to believe we missed Spring and went straight into Summer. Regardless it's amazing to spend a lot of time outside with Melinda, Elianah, and Dash enjoying God's wonderful creation.

What I love about God is how He continually draws us to Himself. Creation and nature is one way He communicates to us, along with a variety of other situations in life. The other day, God brought upon a song that spoke directly to my heart. The song was titled, "From The Inside Out" and what spoke to me were lyrics light "your light will shine when all else fades" and "from the inside out Lord, my soul cries out."

I encourage you to listen to the song and hope that you are encouraged as well. Lyrics below:

From The Inside Out

By: Hillsong United

Album: United We Stand (2006)

A thousand times I've failed
Still your mercy remains
And should I stumble again
Still I'm caught in your grace

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Your will above all else, my purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Chorus 2x
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
From the inside out Lord, my soul cries out
