God's Blessing in our Legacy

A legacy is simply what you leave behind and how you’re remembered when you leave this earth. Legacy is how people talk about you after you passed away. Legacy is reflected on how we lived our lives. Legacy is how people talk about you after you passed away. Legacy is reflected on how we lived our lives. I believe we all want to leave a lasting legacy behind when we die.

But do we truly really understand what kind of legacy we can leave behind?

To be honest, most of us live ordinary Christian lives. We feel that ordinary, the status quo, or the bare minimum is all we can accomplish. We don’t think God can use it and we sell ourselves short. Some of us may even wonder what kind of impact we can truly make for God’s kingdom. For some of us, just getting through this life is enough for us.

But God calls us to so much more.

I believe that instead of living just ordinary lives, God wants all of us to live extraordinary lives. Lives that follow whole-heartedly after God in faithfulness and obedience. God wants us to become people who live our lives for Him and in doing so, to leave behind a great legacy. Because our legacy will be determined by our obedience.
