Live twitter feeds can now be moderated

Not only has Twitter been the topic du jour in mainstream media with news outlets, celebrities, and even athletes, it's also become the buzz for churches and church leaders too, e.g. Twittering in Church, With the Pastor’s O.K. (TIME),Should We Use Twitter During Church? (Josh Harris), More on Not Using Twitter During Worship Services (John Piper), Texting in Church (Chato Hazelbaker), Ontario church set to transmit 'Theology of Twitter' (Ontario Now), Churches use Twitter and more to connect with congregations (Orlando Sentinel), Twitter in Church (Gabe Taviano). We've had our share of conversations about Twitter here at the Digital blog too.

Now it's taking on a whole 'nother dimension. Live twitter feeds can now be moderated using a new web app called Paratweet. Paratweet was demo'd at Catalyst West this April, where it was used for live Q&A with a panel and chatter between sessions for attendees.

Paratweet was recently launched and now available for churches, ministries, and organizations hosting events where a moderated twitter feed can be projected onto a screen without the embarrassment of cuss words or inappropriate tweets showing up for all to see.
