Top Sermon #8

Continuing with what I started, here is our next sermon in our look back and the Top 10 downloaded sermons at the church. This next sermon was done well over a year ago and for some reason, nothing stands out to it. Not sure why this sermon made it into the Top 10, but I'm thinking it's just because of longevity.

Sermon #8 is "Shining Like Stars" (from our Philippians: Faith in Everyday Life series)

What comes to my mind is the idea of influence in our culture. There are a lot of times in my life where I don't know how much influence I truly have. I have to ask myself constantly, "Am I doing all that I can do influence the people in my environment?" If I were to leave my social environments, would anyone feel any different? Could I say that I have influence? The Bible calls us to be influencers of culture and it's hard to really gauge that sometimes. My prayer is that God will use me to shine like stars on this world.
