Steps of Faith

We saw a piece of the picture come into clarity yesterday. The past few years God has been revealing small pieces of his vision for us showing us little spots of color. Letting us grab a hold and be amazed at his artistry. So now that another bit has been revealed to us let us share with you some of these pieces.

Some of the things that God has placed on our hearts have been for multi-generational, multi-cultural, multi-people focused community ministry. A heart for his people, the lost, and those that need to disciples. A passion to see his church whole, serving and following after Him. A love for all that He is and a want to share that with others. A dream to restore the broken people in his church and the broken churches. A need to be in community with others and to be in fellowship with believers and non-believers alike.

So many times we would try and focus on one of those thing because the whole was so fuzzy, and how would we find something that would allow us to poor ourselves into?

Through much prayer and seeking on our part and on the part of this church we are now combining with each other for the Ministry.

Starting on Feb. 1, 2008, Tim will be the Bi-Vocational Sr. Pastor of Carmen Road Alliance Church in Schenectady, NY. We are so excited to see what God has in store for this church. They are a church small in number but mighty in faith and we are excited to lead them and to see them grow, develop and serve as the Church to the community. We don't know what it is going to look like, we don't know how it is going to happen but we do know that we are called and that God has great things around the corner!

Pray for: The people of the church, there are several unspoken requests and needs of healing to happen. Pray for leadership, there is a need to develop a worship team and for a couple of other people to serve in other aspects in the church. Pray for vision that we would be of one mind and that one mind would be what God would have us do.

The harvest is ready! Are you?
