The Power of Prayer

This past week we celebrate the Alliance World Week of Prayer. I must say, I was very impressed with the turnout for each day's event. We met for 8 straight mornings to simply just pray as a church for our community, our church, and the worldwide work of the C&MA around the world. It's quite amazing to see God's people commit themselves to daily prayer. Just through that week, I sensed a lot of change that occurred. I noticed a greater sense of corporate worship, strong unity, renewed spirits, obedient servants, and new people showing up on Sunday mornings. Personally, I noticed how a daily prayer time helps the rest of my day.
So my encouragement to you is that you make prayer a priority in your life. Prayer is what moves us and guides us. Think to yourself, how can I make prayer more of a priority in my daily life?
